I'm sitting at 15,463 words.  I did that mostly this morning, with the intent of doing more now, but it just hasn't happened.  Bad news coming from all sides and husband is extremely unhappy at the moment.  He leaves tomorrow and won't be back until Friday evening.  You'd swear he was missing his own birthday, not mine.  He's leaving to go pick up ( Read more... )

It seems, without fail, that something always manages to interrupt the flow of my NaNoWriMo. Last year, it was a sinus infection... this year? I'm at 10,003 words.  Unfortunately, today is not the day for any sort of celebration.  In fact, today fucking sucks.  So, with that said, I'm off to old, bad habits--time to go drown in a game.  See you all on the other side.

So, I'm up to 8,701 words!  Which is pretty awesome.  I'm taking it slower this time and I kind of like it.  I may have to go back and edit some stuff happening here, because I'm not sure if this is completely where I am wanting to go.  I'm working off sparse notes and bits and pieces, so it's all sort of shambling together as I go.

I am so ill prepared. In fact, I don't think I've been this bad off since I started doing this. It's been a troublesome time lately for me, though, so that factors in. My mind is kind of... everywhere. I won't be able to begin tomorrow, I know that much, but I am hoping for some time Monday.
